Above is a red-billed hornbill. They are very distinctive in flight, with black and white stripes and patterns on their wings and backs. We saw hundreds of these, and heard them calling all time.
We also saw yellow-billed hornbills. They were very similar to the red-billed variety, except for coloration.
On one occasion, we saw a ground hornbill. Our guide, Justice, told us that those are rare. It was a very large bird walking on the ground, and reminded me of a turkey.
