Kudu

This is a kudu. Isn't she pretty?

Kudu are the largest antelope we saw in Botswana, much larger than impala or deer. The males are even bigger than females, with wonderful spiraling horns.

Day after day, we found small groups of kudu among the impalas. The one above has her attendants with her, two red-billed oxpeckers.
