While we were in Botswana, the Great Migration was in progress in Tanzania. Two million wildebeest were far North of us, traversing the Serengeti and crossing rivers full of crocodiles.
However, one wildebeest was lost. We found it here in Selinda, alone except for the small group of tsessebe.
Many eyes offer protection from predators so most herbivores travel in herds. The tsessebe seem to have taken in this lost wildebeest as we saw them together the next day as well.
