This postcard will be my first mailing. It says:

Personally, I cannot bring peace, prosperity and happiness to Afghanistan, Iraq or even the United States. But I feel obligated to try my best for the City of Belmont.

I ask you to join me at the polls on Tuesday, June 3rd. If you are not registered, please do so by the 19th of May. Vote for the best candidate (me!), and let's try to make this world a little bit better.

I hope to follow this with a letter on the issues. Belmont has 11,521 residences, so postage alone costs over $1,500 for each mailing. The salary for council members is $4,680 per year, considerably less than projected campaign expenses. Please help me to help our community by assisting with these costs. Even small amounts are greatly apprecriated.
